Since 1998, we spend our summer holidays eleven times on the Cykladic islands, exactly at Mykonos. By our first visit we stayed there for 10 days an then we went by boat to Santorini for further 4 days. It was our first vacation to Greece and we liked it very well. But our favourite Island is Mykonos.

The free and easy, tolerant atmosphere fascinated us as well as the white typical architecture of the cycladic island, the sun, the many beautiful beaches and the blue waters of the Aegean, the cosmopolitan lifestyle, and of course, the traditional colours of this special Cycladic Island. Mykonos town with its different kinds of restaurants, Bars and cafes, and the famous nightlife inspires us again and again. Our daily trip by scooter to the beaches is always a big experience.

The result from our Mykonos holidays  2010:

Mykonos has not really changed but yet very much.
Much what was great the last few years, was this year a rip-off with doubtful quality. Our favorite restaurant, the "Magic Garden" exists no more.
Many shops have closed, and now instead of them there are jewelry stores .
The last few years the building activity was great, but the island has not become bigger and there are no new beaches an therefore there were many many people and it was to narrow for us.

.... But maybe we were already too often here
