Asia and special Thailand are famous for its very high hotel standard. Here in Bangkok there are many luxury and first class hotels to reasonable prices. In other countries you get only an average service for this price, but here in Thailand the hotels offer an excellent service. All famous hotel groups are present here. Our favourite hotels are at the riverside, because here you can watch the boat traffic at the Chao Phraya River and you can reach the most important places of interest by boat.

By our first visit in Bangkok we booked the hotel “Holiday Inn Crown Plaza”, which offers an excellent service by a moderate price. The four star hotel is situated at the Silom Road and near the night market and the Silom Village, one of the best food centres of the city.

But we realized, that we would like it, to take an accommodation at the riverside. So we stayed alternate at the Sheraton, Shangri La and Peninsula hotel.
