Asiatique  the Riverfront   

The "Asiatique the Riverfront" is the latest attraction in Bangkok with many different restaurants, small shops, revue theaters and shows.

From our hotel, the Chatrium Riverside, you have a wonderful view in the evening on the illuminated big wheel at the Asiatique. In about 20 minutes we were walking there to watch and enjoy the whole atmosphere.

Everything is well neat and tidy, clean and looks very chic. To stroll along or eat at the waterfront, overlooking the skyline of Bangkok is great.

There is a free shuttle service from the Skytrain at Taksin Bridge. Long queues of pleasure-seeking young asian people are waiting here patiently for the boat to the Asiatique.

It was not necessarily what we expected from a Night Market, a bit too artificial, everything, we missed the typical Thai atmosphere, but it's still worth seeing.

For us, the one-time visit was more than enough, but for people who think they have seen a lot of Bangkok and don´t know what to do with the their time in Bangkok, it is certainly an option.
