Indonesien kommt nicht zur Ruhe. Nach dem Beben und Tsunami von Sulawesi wurde jetzt auch die Insel Sumba erschüttert. Die Regierung bat angesichts der verheerenden Lage um internationale Hilfe.

Soll zwar angeblich zunächst nur eine "Nothilfe", also eine Art ERster Hilfe, sein - aber es ist trotzdem armselig!

Indonesien ist echt gebeutelt. Nun ist auch noch ein Vulkan auf Sulawesi ausgebrochen!

Ich war im September noch auf Bali und dann unter anderem auch rüber zu den Gili-Inseln.
Man hatte uns in Amed davon abgeraten, wegen der noch andauernden Gefahr durch Erdbeben (Lombok Aug 2018).
Ich muß aber sagen das die Menschen dort selbst sehr froh waren, daß sich nicht alle Touristen davon abschrecken lassen.
Selbst der Fährtransfer Anbieter bzw. der Kapitän hat sich auf der Rückfahrt nach Bali bei allen Reisenden bedankt.
Es gab zu diesem Zeitpunkt nur 1 Verbindung pro Tag zu den Gili-Inseln. Normal seihen wohl 5.
